Once You Pop You Just Can’t Stop
No judgment here, just want to offer this. Of course, you realize you CAN stop at any time. No donut or brownie ever held a gun to anyone’s head and said “EAT ME OR DIE!!!”
It’s okay to eat a brownie, or two, or three if that’s what you want. Because you’re an adult and you get to choose what’s most important to you. Weight loss, health, energy, etc or brownies. Again, no judgment. Most of us make choices without thinking about what all that choice really includes.
Like for me a “cheat day” means DAYS of extra water weight, cravings for days after that won’t quit, and the potential of falling off the wagon and staying of the wagon days, weeks, or even months, and the reversal of all my hard work.
Know (and accept) what works for you and what doesn’t. If you can’t dip a toe in the pool without diving in, then maybe you just need to lay out on the deck. =) You have to decide what that brownie (or any food, really) is worth to you.
